Lack of Guidance pay tribute to Ajax sides of past and present

The football-obsessed creatives at the Amsterdam-based, Lack of Guidance, have unveiled their latest drop.

Always releasing limited edition pieces, packed with tasteful football culture references, this new t-shirt references the famous Ajax side of 1995 and the current crop of hopeful youngsters. The likes of Clarence Seedorf, Danny Blind, Jari Litmanen, Overmars and the rest, famously brought home the European Cup in the mid-nineties and that side is quite rightly remembered as a legendary one.

A young squad, with the teenage Patrick Kluivert, eventually scoring the goal that would win the final against Milan in Vienna, the current crop of Matthijs de Ligt, Frenkie de Jong, Dusan Tadic and company, have drawn comparisons. Whilst we are in a very different footballing landscape now, the success of Ajax in Europe so far this season has fans excited and as such, L of G have unveiled the JAXI LONG SLEEVE.

Including the line-ups of that 1995 squad and the current side on the back, plus a SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE print which is a reference to an old Ajax home shirt that contained those very words, the long sleeve tee is super clean in it’s design. Using the iconic Champions League starry ball logo as well, everything comes together perfectly a fitting tribute to the past, that whets the appetite for the future.

The tee released on April 4th, and is available from Lack of Guidance directly.
