British rapper Loyle Carner’s love affair with football and vintage jerseys carries on.
The Londoner makes no secret of his love for retro football gear and has released a Loyle Carner FC shirt in collaboration with Umbro in the recent past. That shirt resembled a classic England strip but this latest release is inspired by the colours of Guyana.
Carner’s roots go back to Guyana and he recently visited George Town on the island to trace his musical roots. Inspired by the country, LC FC’s latest release is a Guyana jersey with ‘Carner 7’ on the back. Umbro’s classic diamond detailings are involved as ever, with gorgeous trimmings on the sleeves.
A red and green vertical stripe goes down through the badge atop of a patterned yellow shirt that is seriously retro. The jersey is available directly from Umbro’s website and has been worn by Loyle Carner on his current tour.
