Top 5 Football Kits That Dropped in February
February proved that winter doesn’t slow down football culture. The best football kits released in February blended innovation, nostalgia and sustainability with clubs using design to tell deeper stories. From retro revivals to glow-in-the-dark experimentation, these are the five drops that defined the last month of winter.

Juventus x adidas x Studio Sgura — 4th Kit 2025/26
Juventus officially released their 2025/26 Fourth Kit in February, produced by adidas in collaboration with creative studio Sgura. The shirt brings a forgotten chapter of club history into the present, revisiting an experimental horizontal stripe concept originally developed for the 1996/97 season but never worn in competition. The kit explores how tradition can be reinterpreted through design, positioning it as a cultural statement as much as a performance garment.

RB Leipzig x PUMA — 4th Kit 2025/26
RB Leipzig unveiled their 2025/26 Fourth Kit, designed by PUMA with glow-in-the-dark elements. The black base carries blue abstract graphics derived from a stylised map of Leipzig, referencing the city’s districts and urban structure. According to the club, the shirt is intended to capture Leipzig’s energy and identity. The phosphorescent crest, logos and detailing aren’t just technical flourishes, they reinforce the idea of the club lighting up the city under stadium lights.
Real Betis x Hummel — Forever Green Kit 2025/26
Real Betis presented the most sustainable kit of February, developed with Hummel. The jersey incorporates fibres derived from recycled orange peel waste, which is a direct nod to Seville’s citrus heritage. The numbers of the jersey feature a perforated orange-peel texture with a scratch-and-sniff orange blossom scent. The release was part of the club’s long-running Forever Green sustainability initiative. The annual campaign uses a designated LaLiga match and special kit to highlight a targeted environmental challenge through football. The design maintains Betis’ green identity while embedding symbolic detailing tied to this environmental narrative.

AC Milan x PUMA x Slam Jam — 4th Kit 2025/26
AC Milan officially launched their 2025/26 Fourth Kit in collaboration with PUMA and Slam Jam in February. The limited-edition shirt combines Milan’s iconic red-and-black palette with streetwear-inspired design cues and was presented by the club as a project that blends contemporary aesthetics with its historic identity, celebrating fans and reinforcing a shared sense of pride and belonging across the Rossoneri community. The design reframes Milan’s Serie A heritage through urban culture influences rather than simply altering the traditional kit.
Austin Texas FC x adidas — Away Kit 2026
Released during MLS Jersey Week in February, Austin FC’s 2026 away kit, titled “The Rooted Kit”, was presented by the club as a tribute to the natural environments that shape the city, including its parks, waterways and green spaces. In their official announcement, Austin FC emphasised themes of growth, resilience and connection. This positioned the kit as a celebration of the community that has supported the club since its inception. Rather than part of a wider league campaign or sustainability programme, the release focused on cultural expression of Austin’s identity, reinforcing the club’s commitment to reflecting the city’s landscape and local pride through design.
