These Are the Highest-Paid Players in the Eredivisie

1. Jordan Henderson – €90,000 a week
The former Liverpool captain made waves when he joined Ajax, instantly becoming the league’s highest earner. Henderson brings experience, leadership, and a winning mentality to the Amsterdam club. While his move was met with skepticism, Ajax is back at the top of Eredivisie under his leadership.
2. Steven Berghuis – €77,000 a week
One of the most technically gifted players in the Eredivisie, Berghuis continues to play a key role for Ajax. Having previously played for Feyenoord, his move to Ajax remains one of the most controversial transfers in Dutch football history.
3. Sergiño Dest – €75,000 a week
After spells at Barcelona and AC Milan, Dest returned to the Eredivisie to rediscover his best form. The dynamic right-back, known for his attacking runs, was on loan at PSV and earning one of the highest salaries in the league. After Dest was heavily injured, PSV were able to acquire him for free from the Catalans.
4. Daniele Rugani – €75,000 a week
This season, Francesco Farioli leads the Ajax squad. To strengthen the defense, experienced center-back Daniele Rugani was brought in on loan from Juventus. Although the aerially strong defender has had limited playing time, he has proven to be a reliable backup.
5. Brian Brobbey – €58,000 a week
The young Dutch striker is one of Ajax’s brightest talents. After a brief spell at RB Leipzig, Brobbey returned to Amsterdam, where he has continued to develop into one of the key players in the Ajax attack.
