On July 29, 1998, Tijjani Reijnders is born in Zwolle. The son of former professional footballer Martin Reijnders follows in his father’s footsteps by making his debut in the Eredivisie for FC Zwolle, later renamed PEC Zwolle. However, his career at Zwolle consists of just one match before the talented player moves to the other side of the country to join AZ. Reijnders now dominates the midfield for the Alkmaar-based club. With his graceful passes, fiery long-range shots, and the way he moves on the field with grandeur, the Eremurus flower perfectly represents the 24-year-old midfielder.
