MINI Paul Smith Edition Brings British Style to the Road
The MINI Paul Smith Edition brings together two unmistakably British names in a way that feels playful, refined and full of character. Blending MINI’s iconic design with Paul Smith’s world-famous “classic with a twist” approach, this new edition turns everyday driving into something more expressive and more personal.
British Codes Reworked
The MINI Paul Smith Edition is available across the full MINI Cooper family and introduces a look that feels familiar while still offering something fresh. The fully electric MINI Cooper SE Paul Smith Edition is the first model to arrive, pairing its unique design with 218 hp, front-wheel drive and an all-electric go-kart feeling. It also accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.
On the outside, the edition plays with contrast and subtle signature touches. The three-door MINI Cooper SE in Midnight Black features a black roof with an interpretation of Paul Smith’s Signature Stripe in glossy and matte black, while the MINI Cooper S Paul Smith Edition in Inspired White adds an exclusive Nottingham Green roof as a tribute to Sir Paul Smith’s birthplace.
Alongside Midnight Black and Inspired White, the MINI Paul Smith Edition is also available in Statement Grey, a modern take on the Classic Mini Austin Seven colour from 1959. Across all variants, Nottingham Green appears on the mirror caps, octagonal grille and wheel caps with Paul Smith lettering, while 18-inch Night Spoke alloy wheels in Dark Steel add a more dynamic edge.
Details With Character
Inside, the same attention to detail continues. Nightshade Blue Vescin sport seats, black knitted surfaces and tone-on-tone stripe patterns give the cabin a distinctly tailored feel. A Signature Stripe textile loop on the steering wheel brings together elegance and personality in equal measure.
What gives the interior its charm is the sense of humour built into it. When the door opens, driver and passenger are greeted by a handwritten light projection saying “Hello”, while Paul Smith’s motto “Every day is a new beginning” appears on the door sill. A hand-drawn rabbit on the floor mat adds another recognisable Paul Smith touch, giving the interior a lighter and more playful feel.
A British Launch With a Dutch Stage
In the Netherlands, MINI is giving the Paul Smith Edition a launch that matches the character of the car itself. The model is visible exclusively at de Bijenkorf, where design, creativity and craftsmanship come together in a setting that fits the spirit of this collaboration.
The MINI Paul Smith pop-up can be visited at de Bijenkorf Utrecht from 14 April to 26 April, before moving to de Bijenkorf Rotterdam from 29 April to 12 May. Visitors can experience the MINI Paul Smith Edition on Dutch soil for the first time, while a life-size fibreglass MINI installation adds an extra playful touch to the launch experience.
Heading Out Now
The fully electric MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition is already available in selected markets, including the Netherlands, with prices starting from €37,590. The petrol variants, the MINI Cooper, MINI Cooper 5-Door and MINI Cooper Cabrio Paul Smith Edition, will follow from the end of May.
