In December 2024, Manchester City partnered with PUMA to launch the PUMA AI Creator—a revolutionary platform that lets fans design the club’s official third kit for the 2026/27 season using artificial intelligence. Ederson, Stefan Ortega, and Rico Lewis showcased the platform’s potential by collaborating on a bespoke goalkeeper kit, which will become the first AI-designed football kit worn on the pitch and sold in limited quantities later this season. Fans Join of the Creative Process
The PUMA AI Creator invites fans to craft their own kit designs through text prompts, customization tools, and intuitive sliders. Participants receive 15 free design credits and two entries upon registration, with more credits available by rating other designs or through Cityzens membership and PUMA NFTs. Fans submitted their designs until December 20, 2024, after which PUMA and Manchester City experts shortlisted the top ten. In January 2025, public voting began to select the final design, which Manchester City players will wear ahead of the 2026/27 season.
