There’s a Diego Maradona movie coming soon…

From the people who made the iconic documentary films Senna and Amy, a new motion picture on the life of Diego Maradona is incoming.

Releasing on June 14th, Diego Maradona is sure to be a captivating watch as this colourful, controversial character, has lived one hell of a life so far. The most gifted player of his time, he has scored some of the most famous and infamous goals, as we are sure the film will show.

But as per usual from the director, Asif Kapadia, there will be lots of unseen footage involved, too. Over 500 hours of video from Maradona’s personal archive has been used to make the film, which will give us all a look into the mind of a footballing genius.
