Recap of Life After Football’s Gentlemen’s Dinner 2024
The evening of September 2nd became one for the ages. Not only did we host our annual Gentlemen’s Dinner, we also officially launched Life After Football ISSUE 82. The exclusive gathering brought together partners, celebrities, (former) footballers, and friends of Life After Football and took place in the elevated sky bar and terrace LuminAir in Amsterdam.
Nothing could stop a beautiful dinner. The weather was great, the guests looked as stylish as ever, and the venue was special. Firstly, the partners, (former) footballers, and celebrities were welcomed with a glass of wine. Among our football guests were Gianni Zuiverloon, Aron Winter, André Ooijer, Ryan Donk, Orlando Engelaar, Gregory van der Wiel, ISSUE 82 cover star Dirk Kuyt, and many more.
After our welcome ceremony, it was time for everyone to head to their tables as they were served the first course. In between, the first and main course, Dirk Kuyt was officially handed the first copy of ISSUE 82 and shortly interviewed by Sander de Kramer, our evening host. Shortly after, our partners FundingBase, Alchemia, and The Green Contractors had a moment to share their inspiring messages before the guests were served their delightful main course.
ING and Rémy Martin then took centre stage to elevate the mood of the dinner even further with special presentations. After the dessert, our guests enjoyed a magnificent sunset over Amsterdam whilst drinking a cup of coffee and other beverages.
