Check out the newest addition to the Mercedes range…
If you haven’t seen it yet, check out a couple of the hottest vehicles in the world right now, as the Mercedes-AMG A 45 4MATIC+ and CLA 45 4MATIC+ are stunning new cars from the iconic brand.
Following in the footsteps of their successful predecessors, this duo of vehicles have set numerous new records. The completely new 2.0 litre engine is available in two variants and is the most powerful four-cylinder turbo engine in the world. Even the ‘basic’ model with 387 hp has more power than its predecessor. The S-model with 421 hp can compete with cars from considerably higher classes.
Much of this is down to the new AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G dual-clutch transmission with eight gears, guaranteeing smooth and fast shifting within a few milliseconds in all driving situations. The active, fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC + four-wheel drive distributes torque across the rear axle with AMG TORQUE CONTROL, ensuring optimum traction and a spectacular drift mode.
As impressive as the performance is the car’s look, with certain attributes really making these new releases stand out. The front bumper and skirting is a characteristic that the series will be recognised by. The basic models are equipped as standard with aerodynamically optimized 8.5 J x 18-inch ten-double-spoke AMG light-alloy wheels, tantal grey, with 245/40 R18 tires.
The S models have 19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, which are 8.5 inches wide with the A 45 S 4MATIC + and 9 inches with the CLA 45 S 4MATIC +. This car also has a higher top speed, reaching an impressive 270km/h and getting up to a 100km/k in just 3.9 seconds.
