Ajax announce continued partnership with Budweiser

The King of Beers has teamed up with the current Kings of the Eredivisie, as Budweiser join forces with Ajax for a new deal.

The plan will see Budweiser remain to be the choice of beer for the Amsterdam club, acting as the official beer of both Ajax’s men and women’s first-teams. Also to sponsor the 2022 World Cup, Budweiser’s involvement in football has been displayed once again as the most famous beer brand in the world continues to be present within the world’s most popular sport.

Menno Geelen, commercial director of Ajax has said: “During the discussions with AB InBev, we soon came to the conclusion that Ajax and Bud have many similar values. The fact that a renowned brand such as Bud is committed to us for a long time offers many new opportunities. After we have already extended the collaborations with adidas and Ziggo for a long time, this improved contract is also a confirmation that we believe in sustainable partnerships.”
