Harry Kane Invests in FoodHealth Co. Raising Awareness for Healthy Nutrition

English captain Harry Kane has become a strategic investor in FoodHealth Co., the startup behind the FoodHealth Score nutrition index. The FoodHealth Score is a 1–100 metric that rates foods on ingredient quality and nutrient density. Kane says he supports the company’s goal of making healthy eating easier and more useful for consumers.

A New Investor for FoodHealth Co.

FoodHealth Co. has developed a simple rating system that helps shoppers understand how healthy a food product is at first glance. Called the FoodHealth Score, it gives items a number between 1 and 100 based on ingredients and nutritional value, making it easier to compare options without studying every label. The company has raised over $20 million and works with large supermarket chains. In the United States, Kroger already integrates the score into its app and in-store scanners, allowing customers to see a health rating while they shop.

Harry Kane’s investment is aimed at helping this system reach more stores and more people. He explained that, as both an athlete and a father, nutrition is always on his mind, and he believes tools like this can help families make better food choices. His involvement comes as FoodHealth released a study with research firm NielsenIQ showing that the average American grocery basket scores only about 49 out of 100, highlighting how much room there is for healthier decisions.

Harry Kane’s Sports-Health Investments

This is not Kane’s first step into the sports and health space. He previously became an investor and ambassador for OxeFit, a company that builds AI-powered recovery equipment for personalised training. The partnership reflects his strong focus on performance after dealing with injuries earlier in his career. Over time, Kane has earned a reputation as one of football’s most disciplined professionals, embracing modern training methods and sports science.

Kane has often said that preparation should be personal. His routine focuses on recovery, hydration, sleep, and smart nutrition to stay at a high level throughout long seasons. He has spoken openly about diet, conditioning, and staying physically balanced, reinforcing his image as a player who prioritises longevity as much as performance. Together, these habits and partnerships show how he uses his experience at the top level to support science-based wellness and encourage healthier lifestyles beyond football.

A Healthy Trend Amongst Footballers

Kane’s move reflects a wider shift in football, where top players are investing in health and nutrition. U.S. soccer star Alex Morgan is also backing FoodHealth Co., while Cristiano Ronaldo invested in wearable fitness company Whoop. Swedish icon Zlatan Ibrahimović has long been involved with the vitamin and wellness brand Vitamin Well. These players understand how nutrition, recovery, and performance are connected. At the same time they are using their influence to promote healthier lifestyles and smarter training habits.
