Ronald Koeman stands as one of football’s most accomplished Dutch defenders. His illustrious playing career includes stints at FC Groningen, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, FC Barcelona, and Feyenoord. Notably, he was a pivotal figure in Johan Cruyff’s “Dream Team” at Barcelona, scoring the decisive goal in the 1992 European Cup final. Internationally, Koeman earned 78 caps for the Netherlands, contributing significantly to their UEFA Euro 1988 triumph. Transitioning into management, he has led top clubs such as Ajax, PSV, Valencia, and Barcelona, and currently serves as the head coach of the Netherlands national team. Under his guidance, the Dutch team reached the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2024, marking their first appearance at that stage in two decades.
