Donny van de Beek built his career as a technically intelligent midfielder known for his timing, movement, and understanding of space. Developed in the Ajax academy, he broke into the first team during one of the club’s most successful modern periods, becoming a key part of the side that reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in 2019. At Ajax, he stood out for his late runs into the box, composure in possession, and ability to link midfield and attack, winning multiple Eredivisie titles and domestic cups.

In 2020, Van de Beek moved to Manchester United, where his time proved challenging due to limited playing opportunities.
