Grey Goose Altius Presents The Art of Legacy

Grey Goose Altius and Numéro Netherlands have unveiled a project that blends heritage, ambition, and contemporary culture into one striking visual story. “The Art of Legacy” opened in one of Amsterdam’s most historic canal houses, pairing Old Masters with modern portraiture and refined craftsmanship. The result is a rare moment where art, identity, and prestige meet under one roof.

L’After: A Night Where Legacy Entered the Dancefloor

Once the sun set, the spirit of “The Art of Legacy” moved from gallery halls to Soulkitchen, where the evening transformed into celebration. Guests were welcomed with the Goose Bumps ritual: Grey Goose Altius served ice-cold with caviar. Ruben Michael opened the night as cocktails like the French Mule and Passionfruit Martini matched the venue’s refined energy. Private VIP booths, illustrated with personalised cards by Ila Dani, hosted DJs, creators, and friends of the brand. Bottle service became a spectacle as Grey Goose Altius arrived with illuminated flying geese, raising the atmosphere into celebration mode. Didier took the decks at the peak, embodying the project’s ambition, before Benny Rodrigues closed the night with legendary authority. The result was a seamless continuation of the exhibition’s message: legacy is not static. It evolves, moves, and breathes inside every expression.

A Modern Reflection Inside a Historic Gallery

Earlier that evening, the unveiling of The Art of Legacy took place inside Kunsthandel P. de Boer, a canal house where centuries-old paintings share space with contemporary work. Under the creative direction of Daniel Sars, six portraits were revealed among intimate rooms normally reserved for private dinners and collector gatherings. The gallery setting was essential: the stillness of the house, the surrounding Old Masters, and the warm atmosphere created a sense of contemplation that deepened the meaning of each portrait. Guests moved through the historic spaces with Grey Goose Altius Dry Martinis in hand, taking in the series as if stepping into a dialogue between past and present.

Six Stories of Ambition, Heritage, and Choice

The portrait series highlights six individuals whose journeys redefine what legacy looks like today. Entrepreneur and presenter Olcay Gulsen explains how her grounded upbringing shaped her drive and shifted her focus toward long-term value. Hospitality icon Won Yip speaks about discipline, risk, and the importance of enjoying moments that don’t need to be extraordinary. Music entrepreneur Eelko van Kooten says success, for him, means freedom and building something entirely on your own terms.

DJ and producer Didier Froger represents the new generation of creators who started small and built their path through dedication. Art dealer Niels de Boer continues a family legacy built on culture and responsibility rather than status. René van Rappard, raised within one of the Netherlands’ knightly families, reflects on heritage not as privilege, but as responsibility. Together, their stories form a mosaic of modern influence, where taste, craft, and ambition intersect.
