Throwback Thursday: Clarence Seedorf scores last minute winner

We’re taking you back to 2010 with our throwback this week, as one of the game’s most decorated players scored a wonder goal on this week, nine years ago.

AC Milan legend, Clarence Seedorf, was an elder statesman at this point, even in a famously ‘experienced’ Rossoneri outfit that included the likes of Ronaldinho and David Beckham.  Facing Chievo at home in the iconic San Siro, the notoriously judgemental crowd was growing increasingly frustrated as their team struggled to break their opponents down.

Many a Beckham corner and Ronaldinho attempt weren’t quite coming off, as these comparatively new signings were outshone by Seedorf, a veteran of many seasons in Milan. Words can work well to describe his thunderous strike, but images do it better. Amazing scenes at the San Siro.
