There is now a huge Zlatan statue in Malmo…
A massive statue of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been unveiled in his hometown, Malmo.
The bronze statue was commissioned by the Swedish FA to pay tribute to the achievements of the legendary striker. Unveiled with a ceremony that included Zlatan, himself, the statue is 8ft and 9 inches tall, weighing over 500kg. And, as you’d expect from Zlatan, he marked the moment with a cheeky Instagram post.

The statue was created by Swedish artist Peter Linde and stands tall outside FC Malmo’s stadium, where Zlatan started his career. Zlatan is still playing aged 38, having played for Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris St-Germain and Manchester United.
Elsewhere, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohammed Salah have also had statues built in their honour.
