Right To Dream release short film

The Right To Dream group is lead by the former Manchester United chief scout in Africa, Tom Vernon, and strives to make footballing dreams come true for talented players from the continent.

In the same week that the African Player of the Year was announced, this film was released tracking the journey of Ghanian prodigy, Francis Atuahene. The player who grew up in an underprivileged part of Ghana, was unlikely to have his talent spotted, like thousands of other young players who grow up in areas such as these.

The aim of Right To Dream is to ensure that these players don’t go unfound and that they don’t stop believing. Atuahene’s journey takes him to America in pursuit of his dream of making it professional… and by the looks of things, it’s going well.
