Italy introduce classy new green kit…
The Azzurri, famous for their blue shirts, has gone green.
The Italy national team will wear green in at least one of the upcoming internationals thanks to their new third strip. A green number, it’s a fittingly classy shirt worthy of being worn by one of the most traditionally suave football teams on the planet.
The new shirt is to mark something of a new era for the Italy side, with just under half of their squad being under 25 years of age. With Renaissance era-inspired graphics, there is a nod to history here, too. Italy actually wore a ‘Maglia Verde’ (green jersey) way back in the 1950s.
Crafted by Puma, it is the latest shirt in a long-running partnership between this brand and the Italian FA.
