DOCU DAY: Bayer Leverkusen – A Dream Comes True
Last season was an unforgettable season for Bayer Leverkusen. For the first time in its 120-year history, the club lifted the Bundesliga title. Luckily for us football fans, Amazon followed Bayer Leverkusen during this unique season on their way to winning the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal and will release a four-part documentary series on Prime Video from September 16.
The documentary will feature insightful and emotional interviews with several players including Bayer’s wonderkid Florian Wirtz and their captain Granit Xhaka, head coach Xabi Alonso and the managing directors Fernando Carro and Simon Rolfes. The series showcases the thrills of late goals, the positive energy of the group and their determination to go beyond their limits time and time again to become the first club ever to win the Bundesliga undefeated.
Bayer Leverkusen – A Dream Comes True will be available to watch on Prime Video from the 16th of September 2024.
