Cristiano Ronaldo has broken another record…
Another day another record for Ronaldo, as the legendary forward broke his latest footballing record.
Scoring four goals against Lithuania in Portugal’s 5-1 away win, he became the top goalscorer in European Championship Qualifying history. His fourth goal of the match was his 25th in the competition, as he surpassed Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane’s record of 23 goals.

It was also the 150th team that Ronaldo has scored against in his career and his eighth international hat-trick. The next record in his sights might well be the all-time international goalscoring record which is held by Iran icon, Ali Daei. The former Bayern Munich forward scored 109 goals for his country and is currently the only male player to have outscored Ronaldo in international football.
Ronaldo now has 93 goals for Portugal since making his debut in 2003.
