Corinthians’ Women side has equalled a world record
Out in Brazil, SC Corinthians’ Women’s team has just levelled an impressive world record.
The Serie A1 side have just won their 27th match in a row, levelling a world record set by Welsh top-flight side, TNS. Achieved in style with a 4-0 win at the weekend, the club have the chance to beat the record when they play fellow Brazillian giants Sao Paul on Wednesday night.

The record for the most consecutive wins in Association Football was once held by Ajax, with the Dutch club holding that record for 44 years before TNS bettered it in 2016. History could be made once again thanks to the incredible achievements of Corinthians, who you won’t be surprised to hear are favourites for their next, potentially record-breaking match.
