Football is truly the world’s game and it seems only right that the Copa Libertadores has been added to FIFA 20.
The all-conquering football video game has incorporated the UEFA Champions League in recent years and now South America’s biggest club competition is officially licensed, too. This means that FIFA 20 players will be able to compete as a number of the top clubs in South American leagues, with fully detailed graphics of stadiums, balls and kits all included in the downloadable update.
The CONMEBOL Sudamericana and CONMEBOL Recopa are also playable with the update, with FIFA clearly catering to the passionate football fans in that part of the world. It is the first time that these South American club tournaments have been officially included in the game, marking a historic moment for video games on the continent.
As you might expect, the news was announced in style by EA Sports.
