Sneaker of the Week: Steven Harrington x Flyleather Nike collection
The Los Angeles-based artist and designer Steven Harrington, has collaborated with Nike for Earth Day.
Celebrating sustainability, the collection consists of three footwear models; Air force 1, Cortez and Blazer, all made from sustainable materials. The shoes are made of at least 50% recycled leather scraps which have gone from being wasted to being used brilliantly, thanks to Harrington’s intricate designs.
Despite the recycled scrap leather, the finished product looks like genuine leather and helps to create a super clean white sneaker on all models. With light blue accents, differing on each sneaker, this is a delightfully detailed release made all the more special thanks to the wholesome illustrations.
The collection releases on Earth Day, April 22nd, via the Nike SNKRS app.
