Sneaker of the Week: Suede Nike Air Force 1 in ‘Cool Grey’

Our highlight from the footwear world this week is a revamped classic in the form of the Air Force 1, as one of Nike’s most iconic models comes in an all-new style.

The most impressive thing here has to be the suede, as the popular material always makes for a smart remake of any shoe thanks to it’s luxurious quality. Even with a sneaker so tied to streetwear as the Air Force 1, the use of suede adds something a little bit extra than the usual leather.

The colourway has been dubbed ‘Cool Grey’ and in fact, more than one shade of grey combines of the silhouette. A dip of colour comes from the orangey tag on the tongue, whilst the classic chunky sole of the AF1 ties off the sneaker in white. The laces are a dark grey which keeps the overall colour scheme of these suede shoes as quite a muted one, but one that oozes class.
