Sneaker of the Week: Nike Air Max x Supreme Tailwind IV 2019

This is one for Hypebeasts this week, as our weekly sneaker selection focusses on Nike’s latest collab with streetwear giants, Supreme.

‘Preme have had the chance to work on an Air Max here, not for the first time, as they and Nike create the Air Max x Supreme Tailwind IV 2019. A mouthful to say and a shoe that may just make mouths drop, it comes in two different colour schemes with either black and blue or red and white as the main get-up.

The uppers are created with a combination of bouclé and suede throughout the uppers and you will instantly notice the presence of the famous Air Max bubbles on the sole. Gold accents on both shoes add some fine details on what it a strong release from this working relationship which, involves co-branding on both the upper and the sole.

The release also contains matching hats. Completing the capsule, the two hats match the colourways of the two sneakers in question. The collection will drop on March 21 in Supreme stores and online.
