Omega’s new watch is ready for the Tokyo Olympics…
Our #WatchWednesday feature this week is a limited-edition timepiece geared around the forthcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Tokyo 2020 is sure to be an event that showcases Japanese culture and technology at it’s very best and Omega, official timekeepers of the games, have created a watch that is inspired by the country in question and the Olympics. Taking hues from the Japanese flag for one of these new releases, this new edition of the Seamaster Planet Ocean comes in a super clean white with added red details.

A white leather strap sets off the overall aesthetic for a watch that boasts the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 movement. Only 2020 of these watches will be made and a blue model, the colour of Japan’s Olympic team, has also been released, too, combining different shades of blue in an abstract pattern.
