Fashion Friday: Stüssy’s new statement pieces

The streetwear legends, Stüssy, could not be overlooked this week in terms of the fashion releases.

The iconic French brand released their brand new collection, as an SS19 range sees a number of eye-catching, statement-making new pieces released. This is very much the summer side of their collection, following up from where the brand’s Spring release left off.

As such, vivid colours and loud patterns come into play, stitched in with that swagger and confidence that a bit of sunshine can give us. Mark Lebon, the famous fashion photographer styled the shoot and took it, with Stüssy typically making an impact with their lookbook. When it comes to making a lookbook worthy of a collection, Stüssy never disappoints. 

Outlandish pieces like leopard print shorts and a plaid boiler suit, stand out as particularly ‘out there’ components of a collection for the brave summer fashionistas. But as per from Stüssy, some staple items like graphic-printed tees and the like, make for a well-rounded and impressive new release, fitting of our Fashion Friday feature.
