Fashion Friday: Dior’s new Beachwear is brilliantly bold
We are longing for the day that we see someone strolling along the beach, looking for a place to whack down the most elaborate towel in the world whilst wearing the rest of this beautiful, bonkers beachwear collection from Dior.
For SS19, Dior’s artistic director, Kim Jones, has used the work of Japanese artist, Hajime Sorayama, to create a stunning selection of summer essentials. From your trunks to your towel to your bag to put all of this in when you’re not wearing it, all angles are covered here.
Swordfish, mermaids and robot imagery all feature in a bold blue collection on all of the above, as well as a floral offering too as lightweight textiles and lovely relaxed cuts, set the tone for summer. Themed as ‘Sexy Robot,’ it is safe to say this is a capsule of statement pieces from the famous brand but one that we are fully backing.
A certified summer mood if we have ever seen one, this is available now directly from Dior. Be quick, especially if you don’t mind dropping over a thousand euros on a beach towel.
