Editor’s Pick: Daily Paper release football jerseys for SS19

There is a new season upon us in both footballing and fashion terms and Daily Paper has seemingly combined both.

The Amsterdam-based fashion outfit, that takes inspiration from Africa time and time again, have put Ghana’s music scene at the forefront here. Ghanian artists including King Promise, Joey B, KillBeatz, Kwamz and Flava all feature in the lookbook for these retro-looking football shirts, that feature gradients, outlandish geometric prints and corporate-logo style sponsors all bearing Daily Paper’s name.

Great graphics, slightly whacky colours and some amazing collars that feature the Ghanian flag all combine in this really special release. The lookbook was shot in Ghana with the artists split into two different teams, what with the release being compromised of two different jerseys.
