De Bijenkorf opens an all-new menswear department

One of Europe’s most famous, iconic stores, has opened up a new-look menswear section.

Dam Square’s De Bijenkorf stands so powerfully yet elegantly in the Dutch capital, known as a house of high fashion and more. The famous spot continues to innovate alongside fashion and it’s latest development has seen the exciting local brand, The New Originals, kick-off the space with a new collection.

TNO will be competing for customers with a stylish all day bar in the new section, named Isaac’s Bar after De Bijenkorf founder, Arhur Isaac, who started the department store 149 years ago. The bar offers amazing views of Damrak, with breakfast and coffee on offer as well as beer and cocktails – truly a full shopping experience.

Incorporating young brands like TNO into this historic store is part of an admirable initiative that will see De Bijenkorf give a huge platform to art and culture in Amsterdam that truly deserves it. Exciting times on Dam Square.
