adidas releases football-inspired collection with Stormzy

Grime rapper, Stormzy, first rose to world fame whilst draped in an adidas Originals tracksuit and now he is working with the three-striped brand on his own collaborative collections.

adidas Originals SPRT x Stormzy takes inspiration from football tracksuits to create some sports-casual looks, with rather adventurous camo-print and black on gree tie-dye pieces. However, it is the more understated, classical looking items that stand out as highlights in this capsule, with that black two-piece tracksuit combining classic adidas Originals elements.

The result is some serious RUN-DMC x mid-nineties football manager vibes, which seems fitting considering the football-mad rapper who has helped to design this release. Incidentally, the next generation of promising London rappers and artists have featured in the lookbook, with Louis Culture, Lord Apex, Finn Foxell and others from West London’s Elevation Meditation Posse, wearing this newly released gear.

The collection releases later this month and will be available from adidas.
