Dsquared2 and AS Roma Unite Football and Fashion in New Partnership

Italian football has always carried a strong sense of identity, and AS Roma understands the power of representing more than a club. From the colours of the city to the atmosphere of the Stadio Olimpico, style and symbolism are woven into its character. From the 2026/27 season, that identity will take on a new form as Dsquared2 becomes AS Roma’s Official Fashion Partner. Through the multi-year partnership, the luxury fashion house will design formalwear and casual uniforms for the club’s men’s and women’s first teams, as well as its coaches and staff.

A Shared Approach to Identity

The collaboration brings together two names shaped by confidence, personality and a distinctive attitude. While one expresses those qualities through fashion and the other through football, both place identity at the centre of what they do.

Dsquared2 will create looks for official events, team travel and other moments beyond the pitch. Each outfit will aim to reflect AS Roma with elegance while maintaining the bold character associated with both the club and the fashion house.

“Fashion is about identity and confidence, values that are just as important in sport,” explain Dsquared2 founders and creative directors Dean and Dan Caten.

The twin brothers also share a personal connection with Rome and the symbolism behind the city’s founding legend. Raised by their father, they recognise something meaningful in the story of two brothers finding guidance and strength through the figure who raised them.

“We are proud to bring our creative vision to the club and can’t wait to see the teams represent AS Roma wearing Dsquared2,” they add.

From Team Travel to Official Events

Football’s relationship with fashion no longer begins and ends with the matchday arrival. Players increasingly represent their clubs during international travel, formal appearances, media moments and cultural events.

For AS Roma, the partnership offers an opportunity to create a consistent visual identity across those different settings. The uniforms will combine elegance with character, presenting the players and staff as representatives of both the club and the city.

Michael Gandler, Chief Business Officer at AS Roma, describes fashion and football as two worlds driven by identity and passion.“Our players and staff will have the privilege of wearing pieces that combine elegance with character, perfectly reflecting the spirit of AS Roma,” he says.

Born in Canada, Made in Italy

Founded by Dean and Dan Caten in 1995, Dsquared2 has built its name by combining contrasting influences. Canadian heritage meets Italian tailoring, while sporty references sit alongside glamour and extravagance.

That balance makes the brand a natural partner for the modern football environment, where performance, lifestyle and personal expression increasingly overlap.

AS Roma brings its own history to the collaboration. Founded in 1927, the club carries the colours and symbols of Rome and has built a legacy across both the men’s and women’s game. The partnership therefore connects a globally recognised fashion identity with one of Italian football’s most culturally distinctive clubs.

The first official formal and casual uniforms will be revealed later this year. Until then, the collaboration promises a fresh interpretation of how a football club can represent itself beyond the pitch: with confidence, elegance and unmistakable Roman character.
