Curacao’s Marriott Beach Resort is back open.
The most luxurious resort of the gorgeous island of Curacao had been closed for three years but as of November 2019, is back open for business and as stunning as ever. $37 million has been spent on renovating the iconic spot that is set just 10 minutes away from the historic capital of Willemstad.
Based on a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the beauty of this part of the world speaks for itself. Yet, aided by marine history and five-star services in the hotel, no expense has been spared to allow guests to experience a luxurious, personalized experience throughout the resort.
All rooms have a spacious balcony and views over the pool or the sea and are equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment. The new bathrooms are arranged as mini-spas, including luxury care products. The suites are spacious and have a separate living room area. Guests who want even more exclusivity can book a room with access to ‘The Reef Club’, a lounge where they can enjoy a snack and a drink all day long.
Expect the finest food across the resort, with award-winning Executive Chef Dino Jagtiani on board to develop and manage trendy concepts for restaurants and bars, together with the Director of Food and Beverages, Mark Sjollema. Chef Dino is known for his innovative take on Caribbean cuisine and the use of local ingredients in his dishes.
As winter closes in, it seems like a perfect time for this sunkissed resort to reopen its doors.
