Online Media Manager
Are you passionate about soccer (football) and fluent in both spoken and written English? Do you have extensive knowledge of social media, a keen eye for detail, and a creative mind? Then you might be the Online Media Manager we are looking for!
Job Description:
As an Online Media Manager at Life After Football, you will play a key role in managing, developing, and promoting our online presence. You will be responsible for creating and managing engaging content (photo, video, and text), overseeing freelancers, and devising and implementing online strategies. Here are some of the key responsibilities and requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Editorial Work: Create and edit visual and text content, including articles, blog posts, and social media updates with a focus on soccer (football) and related topics.
- Freelancer Management: Manage a network of freelancers and coordinate their contributions to our online platforms.
- Website Management: Oversee and maintain our website, including technical aspects like WordPress, and ensure an optimal user experience.
- Creative Design: Develop visually appealing content and manage the visual style of our online platforms.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as marketers and content creators, to maximize synergy and ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Online Concepts: Develop and implement online concepts to increase audience engagement and strengthen Life After Football’s online presence.
Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing (native level).
- Passion for soccer (football) and in-depth knowledge of the sport.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to create journalistic content.
- Strong photo and videography skills + editing.
- Experience with online processes such as analyzing statistics, SEO, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with content management systems, preferably WordPress.
- Graphic design skills and a sense of style are a plus.
- Independence and creativity to develop and execute new online initiatives.
