Arsenal and Adidas Bring Terrace Culture Back With New SPZL F.C. Collection
Arsenal and adidas are taking the club beyond the football shirt. Their new SPZL F.C. collection brings together football heritage, terrace culture and everyday style, offering supporters a way to represent Arsenal without necessarily looking like they are heading to a match.

Released on September 29, the collection continues the long relationship between football and Adidas Spezial, the label known for digging into the brand’s archives and reinterpreting classic silhouettes.
At the centre of the drop is a selection of apparel that includes a jersey, long-sleeve polo, track top, track pants and T-shirt, alongside a new Arsenal edition of the adidas ZX 7300 sneaker.
The colour palette immediately connects the collection to the North London club. Deep navy runs throughout much of the range, while red and yellow accents bring in familiar Arsenal colours. The club’s cannon also appears across several pieces, offering a more understated alternative to the full crest.
From the Emirates to the Street
Created as a hybrid within adidas’ long-running ZX family, the sneaker combines a light-coloured upper with grey suede overlays and smaller touches of Arsenal red, navy and yellow. Rather than covering the shoe in obvious club branding, Arsenal references are incorporated more subtly into the design.
Football and Fashion
This collaboration reflects a wider change in the relationship between football and fashion. Jerseys have become everyday fashion pieces, vintage football clothing has found a new audience, and clubs increasingly release collections that sit somewhere between traditional merchandise and streetwear.
For Arsenal, that transition feels particularly natural. The club’s visual identity has repeatedly appeared outside the stadium through collaborations and lifestyle collections, while adidas has spent years drawing from the relationship between British football supporters and its archive.
