We’re not giving away too much about our next issue, but we are giving away a big clue: two of the beautiful jerseys that the Parisian, Vice-endorsed culture club, Red Star FC are wearing this season.
The third-tier club is truly unique. The red star in their name and on their iconic crest stands for socialism; for equality and inclusion of people from all walks of life and all social classes. Red Star is the second oldest club in France and set in one of Paris’ most notorious areas – their home of Stade Bauer has seen it all. A backdrop of blocks of flats and a run-down, very rugged looking stadium was the setting of one very big, very special feature coming to an issue of Life After Football soon.
But, to build excitement for that, and to celebrate an exciting time for one of the coolest football clubs around right now, we’re giving away two of their shirts. Created by adidas and sponsored by Vice, the 2017/18 Red Star FC jerseys are some of the most lusted after shirts in the football world. They are sold exclusively to carefully selected sellers, handpicked by the club’s forward-thinking creative team. In other words, we’re lucky to have them – and you’ll be even luckier to win them.
All you need to do is print screen our Instagram post of the shirt you want to win (either the black or green jersey), share it with your own followers and tag both @lifeafterfootball and @redstarfc. Make sure you’re following us, too, and we’ll pick the winners at random.
Alternatively, you can, of course, buy the shirts. As mentioned, they are available exclusively to a number of outlets who truly get what it is that the club is trying to do including the official club shop of Red Star FC.
