The focus this week turns to one of the luxury car brands of the world, Maserati, and their recently released Ghibli GranLusso and Ghibli GranSport.
The new Ghibli GranLusso underlines the luxury and elegance of the Maserati sports saloon featuring an enhanced, beautiful exterior finish and a rich interior with Ermenegildo Zegna silk upholstery. The Ghibli GranSport was conceived to reflect Maserati’s famous and historic sports heritage, featuring a more aggressive exterior design and unique interior contents that enable the best drive for lucky owners.
Both GranLusso and GranSport trims are available as an upgrade of all Ghibli four powertrain versions and feature adaptive full LED headlights with glare-free Matrix high-beam for even better illumination and a distinctive look. It’s these, often subtle and sometimes breathtaking new additions that are key in holding that ‘Maserati’ look – one that is both distinctively Italian and luxuriously sporty.
Technical additions on the new Ghibli also add to that driving experience. Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC) and the Electric Power Steering (EPS), ensure that the car’s driving dynamic is an even more unique, thrilling one than in previous models.
Maximum speed is increased for both versions to 286 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h has been shaved by a tenth of a second, to being as low as 4.7 seconds. The Maranello built Ferrari 3.0-litre V6 Twin Turbo engine fitted on Ghibli S and S Q4 now delivers 20 hp more, so expect power, luxury and performance to all combine when you’re behind the well-crafted wheel of these latest Maseratis.
