Umbro just continues to kill it.
This year they’ve made some crazy releases with their different strands all over the world. What started in Manchester as a humble football brand, is now very much a worldwide movement and a platform for creatives to express themselves within the world of football.
The latest collab is one between Umbro and the Korean streetwear brand, LMC. Together, they’ve produced a collection that is perfect for the summer and one that touches on some classic Umbro 90s football shirt silhouettes. Look out for vintage prints and some nostalgic designs similar to the shirts that graced Italia 90 and some Ajax shirts of the same era.
Also amongst this collection, modelled expertly by an extravagant and somewhat elderly gent, is some very cool socks with triple diamond logos on, able to be paired with all of sliders, shorts and great, comfy-fitting t-shirts to complete one of the looks of SS18.
Amongst recent collabs with Patta, Alife and even an esteemed hip-hop photographer, this duo of Umbro and LMC has to rank among the strongest of the lot – and a timely release ahead of the summer World Cup.
Look out for the drop on May 14th.
