Not for the first time, Amsterdam’s hottest streetwear brand has joined forces with Umbro to create some stunning football jerseys.
With a quintessentially 90s look again, Patta and the legendary football kit manufacturer have produced two different football shirts, inspired by Ajax kits of the early 90s. The Patta x Umbro Football Jersey 2018 Collection consists of two ‘away’ styles dating from the 90’-91’ season. One features a Purple & Black geometric colour combination, detailed with the embroidered Patta crest rather than an Ajax one, with an Umbro logo on the breast and a Patta college logo flock print and a black collar.
The other jersey features a Blue & White geometric colour combination, detailed with the embroidered Patta crest and Umbro logo on the breast, Patta college logo flock print, a traditional button collar with a Red & Blue stripe and notably, the iconic number ’14’ on the back. Adorned by Cruyff in the 60s and 70s, the number 14 will forever be iconic to Ajax and their city. Both jerseys are constructed from high-quality polyester fabrics, just like the originals, and they will go online (and probably sell out) on March 19.
If you’re local to Amsterdam or London, you’ll be able to get the shirts in your local Patta store from March 17.
