Nike’s newest campaign focuses on some moments of NBA history, bringing them back to the present day through the sneakers that made them possible.

‘Art of a Champion’ is what they are calling it, as they delve through NBA, Nike and Converse archives to pay tribute to some of the greatest moments in basketball history.

Taking it all the way back to 1962 for a pair of Converse Chuck 70s worn by the legend, Bill Russell as he helped Boston Celtic to a fourth successive title with just the 30 points and 40 rebounds.

Elsewhere in the 16-sneaker-strong collection, a pair of Air Force 1s from ’83. Worn by Moses Malone, they feature a really seen white and red colourway with sick text detailing and gold accents. Again, a fitting pair of sneakers for another true great of the game.

Be sure to check out every shoe in the collection at Nike.com, as there’s almost half a century of basketball and sneaker history to enjoy.
