Diesel Black Gold has unveiled it’s advertising campaign for its Fall and Winter 2016 collection. It has been constructed by Andreas Melbostad, the Norwegian who has been the line’s main creative director since 2013 and the outcome produced reflects the urban stylings of Diesel Black Gold.
The images were shot by Karim Sadli, who has depicted this theme well by capturing her subjects in a suitably urban area of Paris. Models Louie Johnson and Mica Arganaraz carry this composition, draped in Diesel Black Gold’s iconic outerwear such as the utility parka that Johnson is wearing.
His opposite number is wearing some equally iconic outerwear in the form of the women’s biker cape that mixes leather and quilted nylon, a strong look that has seen Melbostad pleased with the results.
“I think this advertising campaign perfectly embodies the spirit of Diesel Black Gold,” said Andreas Melbostad. “Mica and Louie, through the lens of Karim, convey a strong yet understated message of individuality and confidence.”
The accompanying video of the campaign shows the location of the shoot hovering over a quiet French railway line, with intermitting black and white footage of some of the shots taken in the studio.
