Fashion Friday: Levi’s x Jordan

Levi’s and Jordan are working together again.

Two-sporting and style icons are reinventing their roots by combining the beauty of Air Jordan IV with the authentic heritage of Levi’s denim. On January 17, 2018, they will launch a collaborative collection consisting of the Jordan x Levi’s Air Jordan IV and the Jordan Reversible Trucker Jacket – both which deserve our attention on this #FashionFriday.

The DNA of both brands is nicely balanced in this collection: the authentic denim material brings the Trucker Jacket to life. Similarly, the Air Jordan IV carries this heritage too, where a standard wash is used on the outside and inverted denim on the sock liner and the insole.

The world famous Levi’s “Two Horse” tag is to be transformed, including the iconic Jumpman logo that has become so iconic in it’s own right. This new tag can be seen on the tongue of the shoe and on the hangtag, with additional finishing touches in the form of rubber details on the outsole of the shoe, gold seams, denim coloured laces and the standard Levi’s Red Tab label. Classic.

The Jordan Reversible Trucker Jacket honours the Jordan brand and the style and soul of Levi’s. It is an essential item that they couldn’t really leave out of the capsule collection. The item is made with the same classic craftsmanship and quality as the Levi’s Trucker Jacket and includes Flight Suit inspired details and the standard but classic Levi’s and Jordan branding across the entire piece.

Weekend shoppers may be ready to go out and buy these now, but you’ll have wait until January 17th when this unique collection from two fashion legends will become available at selected retailers.
