Many may associate Club Med with the summer sun and sandy beaches, however, when it comes to winter getaways, the famous holiday institution has got ski slopes covered, too.
Club Med Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon in France is an all-inclusive 4-Trident Club Med Resort, located at 1600m above sea level. Sitting at the top of the Grand Massif Express gondola on the vast plateau of Saix, this beautiful ‘ski in – ski out’ resort is situated right on the slopes, meaning plenty of skiing action for you and your family.
The new flagship family property opened for the 2017/18 season, meaning it’s still brand spanking new. The place is best suited to families, especially those with very young children with a full range of kids’ clubs, a family area in the main restaurant and dedicated kids area in the ski room. The best way to close the day with ‘the fam’ is in their kids’ restaurant, where chefs specially trained for cooking with the youngest will help the kids prepare meals for their parents.
Club Med Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon is outside the main village at 700m with a shuttle service planned for easy access. Guests will be able to take the shuttle when the Grand Massif Express gondola is not in operation, but during the day, guests can use the spectcular excursion that is gondola at will. Stunning sights and the best way to see all the beauty of this part of the world in all of its surreal glory. The best way to let all of this sink in and close the day, that would be by having a refreshing dive into their pool, a chill-out session in their heated outdoor bubble bath or a relaxing session in the sauna/hammam. Not enough relaxation? No probs, just book in at the in-house spa for a relaxing massage or facial treatment.
