FASHION FRIDAY

For our pick of the week’s fashion drops, the first of 2019, we’ve gone with this eye-catching capsule from a collab between Nike and Cav Empt.

Cav Empt, aka C.E., is the streetwear clothing label introduced by Sk8thing, the man behind iconic graphics featured on BAPE, HUMAN MADE, Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream – true big boys in the streetwear and skatewear scene. Working with Nike, on January 5th they’ll release a collection that includes some wild Air Max 95s in two colourways.

A unique digital camo pattern might remind those of a certain age of a certain Call of Duty game, with the pattern looking like it’s straight from an M4 Carbine, assuming he who is wielding it has enough headshots. Shoes and rifles aside, the rest of the collection is made up of some tracksuit pieces with a vintage feel.

A tracksuit, jersey, vest and cap reference Nike’s vintage sportswear archive, the pieces come decorated with C.E’s signature name embroidery and an array of graphics typical of the brand. A fine release to kick-off 2019.
